About the Role

Natasha Victoria Photography is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and creative Seasonal Photo Assistant to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 portrait season.

This is a hands-on role supporting portrait sessions throughout the Portland/Vancouver area. You’ll work directly alongside Natasha, help create a fun and comfortable experience for our clients, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into a professional photography session.

You don’t need to be a professional photographer. We’re looking for someone who is excited about photography, fashion, creativity, and working with people.

If you’re naturally enthusiastic, love making people feel confident, and are the person your friends would call the ultimate hype person, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Help clients feel comfortable, confident, and excited during their session

  • Be an enthusiastic “hype person” by encouraging clients throughout the shoot

  • Assist with the flow of photography sessions

  • Carry, organize, and help set up photography equipment

  • Hold reflectors, diffusers, and other photography accessories

  • Capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos during sessions

  • Help with small hair and clothing adjustments between photos

  • Help create a fun, positive, and professional experience for clients and their families

  • Represent Natasha Victoria Photography in a professional, courteous, and reliable manner

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

  • Energetic, outgoing, and friendly

  • Comfortable working with people

  • Naturally encouraging and positive

  • Excited about photography, fashion, or other creative work

  • Comfortable being the person who brings energy and enthusiasm to a shoot

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Comfortable working outdoors and at different locations

  • Able to carry photography equipment and assist with setup

  • Willing to learn and take direction

  • Comfortable using a smartphone to capture behind-the-scenes photos and video

Photography experience is a plus, but not required. We’re much more interested in your personality, reliability, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

Transportation

You are responsible for transportation to and from assigned work locations. Travel to locations within 25 miles of Vancouver is considered an expected part of the position.

When a work location is more than 25 miles from the Vancouver, mileage beyond the initial 25 miles will be reimbursed at the current IRS standard mileage rate. When practical, carpooling with the photographer may be available.

Interested?

If you’re energetic, creative, dependable, and excited to work behind the scenes of professional portrait sessions, we’d love to hear from you.
