Can we talk about how I can’t believe these pictures were taken at the same location? Delaney’s outfit choices made it effortlessly transition from a warm summer day to a crisp fall afternoon. Why not get the best of both worlds during a senior portrait session?
This is actually the second time I have gotten the opportunity to work with Delaney. I first met her during my 2022 Senior Session Contest which was a very fast-paced shoot. Seriously three minutes to shoot and two minutes to choose a picture. This time around was a completely different experience starting with professional makeup getting done at her house by Nicole.
After pro-makeup, Delaney and her mom, Stacy arrived at my hidden gem location in Vancouver, Washington. When I said hidden, I mean hidden. It’s behind a children’s park and you will only find it if you are really looking! Most people can’t believe there is anything back there, which is perfect when it comes to a photo location! It was a pretty overcast day when we first started the session, but the sun came out just for her at the end with some gorgeous golden light.
